Clara Mulligan is a London-based artist whose work distills urban forms and natural landscapes into pure expressions of colour, shape, and texture. Inspired by her obsessive travels and fantasies of escapism, comfort, and luxurious down time, her paintings capture that visceral sense of wonder when we encounter something fresh and beautiful.
With a background in design, Clara holds a BFA in Graphic Design and Printmaking, plus an MFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Over a 20-year career as a Design Director and Art Director, she brings precision and innovation to her paintings, crafting work that is both striking and transportive.
